I recently was able to get my hands on 2 of the 5 forces from the BE pack. The material choices made by DJ Clark Kent are definitely on point. I never would have thought of a combination like this. Hopefully I’ll snag the other 3 soon.

Nike Zoom Kobe V Big Stage
As many of you witnessed, last night was game 1 of the NBA Finals. Today the topic of conversation among most is how the Lakers defeated the Celtics with grace and precision and about the phenomenal athlete that is Kobe Bryant. However, last night my eyes weren’t drawn to Kobe’s beautiful jumpshot half as often as they were to his feet. For most big games Nike graces their major players with new, special colorways of their signature shoes and last night was no different. Kobe wore his signature Nike Zoom Kobe V in what is being called the “Big Stage” edition. This clean and simple colorway of white and gold was much less flashy than the typical yellow/purple we usually see adorning his feet. What I like most about them is the hidden goodies. Embossed within the fly-wire are the stats other points of motivation for Kobe. No word yet on if/when these will release but if they do, be sure I will be first in line for them. These are straight FIRE! NB

Nike Air Force 1 White/Marina Blue
So, I haven’t been posting too much lately about any upcoming sneakers. Don’t think that I’ve lost my passion for them or that I’m not constantly hunting for new pairs. I just have to be really interested in something to write about it lately. Well these images of an upcoming Nike release definitely fit the description of something I’m interested in. Slated for a June 12th release, this white/marina blue air force 1 combines perforated leather and patent in a way that we don’t usually see. I’m really feeling this colorway and I can’t wait until it hits just before summer. FLU
Nike Sportswear Surprise
About a month ago I won a twitter contest held by the wonderful people from Nike Sportswear. All I was told was that I’d be receiving one of their new N98 track jackets and a pair of shoes. Well after all the weeks of anxiously waiting the package finally arrived yesterday and it was much larger (and heavier) than I had anticipated. When I opened it I was definitely surprised to find one of the Nike Sportswear x Cody Hudson designed wooden boxes for the N98 Collection. Inside there are two separate compartments; one for the jacket and one for the shoes (a pair of Air Tokis). And on the inside of the lid there is a tag discussing the artist, Cody Hudson, and it is numbered 144/150. This is definitely one of the coolest things I’ve ever gotten in the mail. Big thanks to Nike Sportswear.
